Step1.Lead-in 

Do you like surfing the Internet?

What can we do on the Internet?

1. Look at some pictures and 

guess what they are doing.

The Internet is the biggest source 

of information in the world and it’s 

accessible through a computer. 

 2. Look at some pictures and learn 

some new words about chemistry. 

Step2. Fast Reading(Write on the blackboard)

1. Read the passage quickly and silently 

in 4mins，then answer the questions below.

2) How did it start?

3) What is the World Wide Web?         

4) Who invented it？
